Quetta: Former spokesperson of the Balochistan government and prominent analyst Babar Yousafzai stated that the students and administration of BUTEM University have completely rejected Usman Qazi’s role and strongly condemned his actions.
In a special report released by Buraq Digital at BUTEM University, Yousafzai revealed that following the arrest of Usman Qazi, who has been identified as a terrorist, Indian media outlets and digital accounts launched a malicious campaign claiming that students at BUTEM University were staging protests demanding his release.
He clarified that this narrative was entirely false, fabricated, and conspiratorial.
“I am present at the university myself, and the reality is very different,” Yousafzai said.
He emphasized that the institution has produced many patriotic and capable graduates, and now both students and faculty are furious after witnessing the true face of a terrorist disguised as a professor.
They have categorically distanced themselves from all his anti-state, criminal, and terrorist activities.
Yousafzai added that both students and teachers of the university have openly declared that Usman Qazi acted purely out of greed for money, betraying his profession and values.
“We have nothing to do with his corrupt, anti-national mindset,” he asserted.
He further said that Indian media is also propagating that Qazi’s confessional statement was forced, which is another attempt to mislead the innocent people of Balochistan.

According to Yousafzai, Pakistan’s intelligence and security agencies have concrete and irrefutable evidence against him, detailing his contacts, the terrorist attacks he facilitated, and the members of his network.
