ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq held an important meeting with the Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, to review the prevailing political and administrative conditions of the province.
According to an official statement, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi and former Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani were also present during the meeting.
Discussions primarily focused on ongoing development projects and public welfare initiatives in the province.
The Governor briefed the participants on the progress of various infrastructure and uplift schemes currently underway in Balochistan.
The delegation appreciated the efforts of security forces and law enforcement agencies for maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that Balochistan holds a special place in his heart and emphasized that resolving the challenges faced by the province remains a top priority of the present government.
He further remarked that the overall progress of Pakistan is directly linked with the development of Balochistan.
The delegation also praised the Speaker’s role in fostering strong coordination between federal and provincial democratic institutions, as well as for conducting National Assembly proceedings in an efficient and balanced manner.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation between the federal government and the province of Balochistan for the welfare and prosperity of its people.
It is worth mentioning that some important measures have been taken in Balochistan not only for the peace and stability but also for development and employment.
There are various mega projects working across Balochistan.
A large roads and highways network is also being constructed along with projects like CPEC and Reko Diq.
Some 45 thousand jobs have been announced for the youth of the province.
The government has announced scholarships from primary to higher education level.
Similarly, scholarships are opened in the top 200 universities of the world for the students of Balochistan.
The governmen has announced green and pink bus services in many cities.
