Quetta: Security forces successfully foiled terrorist attacks attempted at two different locations in Quetta.
According to Babar Yousafzai, Provincial Minister for Home Affairs, Government of Balochistan, law enforcement agencies including the Frontier Corps (FC) and Police responded promptly after receiving information about the presence of terrorists.
The minister stated that terrorists affiliated with Fitna Al-Hindustan opened fire on innocent civilians while fleeing from the strong retaliation by security forces. As a result, five civilians sustained minor injuries.
The injured persons are receiving proper medical treatment at Civil Hospital Quetta.
Babar Yousafzai said that all security forces in Balochistan remain on high alert. He assured that complete peace prevails across the province and the provincial government is committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens at all costs.
He appealed to citizens and media personnel to refrain from spreading unverified news and rumors.
