QUETTA: Security forces successfully foiled a major terrorist attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters in Naukundi near Taftan, Balochistan.
According to official sources, a suicide bomber attempted to storm the main gate of the headquarters and detonated himself during the attempt.
Immediately after the explosion, the Quick Response Force (QRF) launched a swift operation and engaged the attackers.
As a result, three terrorists accompanying the suicide bomber were neutralized on the spot.
The body and weapons of one terrorist were recovered from outside the main gate while he was attempting to force entry.
Security officials confirmed that the attack was carried out by militants linked to Fitna-e-Hindustan.
The clearance operation remained underway to ensure complete elimination of any remaining threats.
Authorities emphasized that all terrorists involved in the attack would be dealt with firmly and decisively.
It is worth mentioning that the Indian-sponsored militant groups like BLA, BLF, BRA and many others have launched many such attacks in the ongoing year.
