Security Forces Foil Major Arms-Smuggling Attempt in Turbat

TURBAT: Security forces dealt a major blow to an arms-smuggling network in Turbat, Kech district, Balochistan.

Authorities carried out a crackdown in the area and recovered a significant quantity of illegal weapons.

Officials said the weapons were discovered during a search of a suspicious pickup at the M-8 highway checkpoint in Sumi.

Security personnel seized 400 pistols and 340 magazines from the vehicle.
They also arrested a suspect along with the vehicle.

The arrested man was identified as Ahsanullah, son of Mir Baz Khan, a resident of Peshawar.

Authorities said the operation demonstrates their continued commitment to maintaining law and order and dismantling extremist networks.
