QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said on Friday that any attempt to break Pakistan through the use of force would fail forever.
Speaking at a passing-out parade at the Police Training College in Quetta, Bugti rejected what he called the “ideology of the gun.” He said the state would never accept it, even for a moment.
“The brave sons of Balochistan will stand like a wall of steel against you,” he told the graduating officers.
Bugti said the doors of the state remain open for those willing to return under the Constitution of Pakistan. He warned that the government is equally prepared to act against those who refuse to become productive citizens.
“Leaders do not make popular decisions. They make the right decisions,” he said.
The chief minister said the government has converted the entire province into ‘A’ security areas. He described the move as both an honor and a major responsibility for the Balochistan Police.

During the ceremony, Bugti also announced special electricity feeders for the Police Training College. He pledged upgrades to the sewage system and repairs to internal roads.
