ISLAMABAD: At the invitation of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, will undertake a one-day visit to Istanbul on 3 November 2025 to participate in the Coordination Meeting of Arab-Islamic Foreign Ministers.
Pakistan, along with seven other Arab-Islamic nations, has been actively engaged in the peace initiative that culminated in the signing of the Gaza Peace Agreement in Sharm El-Sheikh.
During the upcoming meeting in Istanbul, Pakistan will underscore the importance of the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Occupied Palestinian Territories—particularly Gaza—and the urgent need to ensure unrestricted humanitarian aid and the reconstruction of Gaza.
Moreover, Pakistan will reaffirm its commitment to collective regional efforts aimed at establishing an independent, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, based on pre-1967 borders and in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Pakistan remains steadfast in its support for the Palestinian people’s struggle for peace, justice, and self-determination, and will continue to play an active role in international efforts to uphold their legitimate rights.
It is worth mentioning that members countries are deeply concerned with the ongoing situation and the Indian-backed militancy carried us from the Afghanistan’s territory.
The Arab-Islamic Foreign Ministers’ Coordination Meeting is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to consolidate Muslim countries’ support for the Palestinian cause.
Following the Gaza Peace Agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh, eight Arab-Islamic nations, including Pakistan, have been working collectively to ensure the agreement’s implementation.
The meeting in Istanbul aims to review progress on the ceasefire, coordinate humanitarian assistance, and strengthen the unified stance of the Muslim world on Palestine.
Pakistan has consistently advocated for peace, justice, and a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders, reaffirming its unwavering support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
