Another ‘Missing Person’ Turns Out to Be BLA Terrorist Killed in Operation

QUETTA: Another missing person who was previously reported missing from Hub Chowki in Balochistan has been killed in recent encounter during an operation by security forces.

According to details, Nadil Ali, son of Khair Muhammad, was allegedly abducted earlier this month from Hub Chowki. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), considered a political wing of the internationally designated terrorist organisation- the Balochistan Liberation Army, had accused state security agencies of his enforced disappearance at the time.

However, Nadil Ali emerged in the recent terror attack carried out by the India proxy group BLA, known as Fitna al Hindustan, security sources confirmed. He was later killed during the counter operation by the security forces.

Observers note that such cases are not uncommon in Balochistan, where individuals frequently reported as “missing” later resurface in militant incidents. The BYC, widely described by analysts as the political wing aligned with terrorist groups, has repeatedly blamed law enforcement agencies for enforced disappearances in the province.

Security analysts closely monitoring the situation in Balochistan say several individuals who were consistently portrayed as missing persons were, in fact, actively involved in violent operations alongside proscribed militant outfits such as the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the BLF.

“This is not an isolated incident,” analysts said, pointing out that multiple individuals previously listed as missing were killed in militant attacks last month as well, underscoring what they describe as a recurring pattern.

In December last year, the BLA had released a list of its attackers on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Nokundi, Chagi. The list also include name of a missing person Nabel Ahmad who was listed a missing person. The BYC had blamed the security forces for his alleged enforced disappearance.

A group of six terrorists including Nabel Ahamad had attacked the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Nokundi. A suicide bomber detonated himself at the main gate on the night of 30 November and gunmen then attempted to enter the compound.

The India proxy group list shows that one of the individuals previously listed as a ‘missing person’ by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has now been identified among the terrorists eliminated during the Nokandi operation.
