QUETTA: An 11-year-old boy, identified as Munsif, son of Nadeem was killed after a speeding tractor hit him near Mir Hotel on Joint road of provincial capital of Balochistan.
According to details, the people show fear and anger over the accident in Quetta as tractor-tankers continue to pose a deadly threat on the city’s roads.
Earlier a day ago, a horrific incident in the Chalu Baori area, where a 9-year-old orphan was left permanently disabled after being hit by a tanker.
Locals told local media that reckless driving, unlicensed vehicles, and lack of enforcement by traffic authorities area main cause of this types of incidents in Quetta, adding that these tractor drivers have turned our streets into death traps.

Despite public outcry, officials have yet to announce any concrete steps or safety reforms.
