QUETTA: Police in Balochistan have made further progress in the investigation of the recent “honor killing” case in the Degari area, as the police arrested the absconding brother-in-law of the murdered woman.
According of reports, so far five individuals, including a tribal elder, have been arrested so far in connection with the case. Raids are ongoing to apprehend the primary suspect.
The incident took place on July 20, when a man named Ihsanullah and a woman identified as Bano Bibi were brutally murdered in the name of honor. A video of the killings went viral on social media, sparking public outrage.

Balochistan Chief Minister took notice of the incident and directed law enforcement agencies to ensure the immediate arrest of all those involved.
