Another alleged ‘Missing Person’ exposed as terrorist in Balochistan

QUETTA: Another man who was declared “missing” by self-proclaimed rights activist Mahrang Ghaffar nearly two years ago has now been confirmed as an armed terrorist affiliated with the Indian-funded terrorist group, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). The individual was killed during a security forces operation in Balochistan on Friday.

According to details, the man was who was identified as Haroon Baloch alias Dostain, was initially reported missing on November 3, 2023. Since then, Mahrang Ghaffar Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) started protests, blocked roads, and launched a propaganda campaign accusing state institutions of involvement in enforced disappearances. However, security officials have now revealed that the man was never missing but instead had joined terrorist ranks and was operating from the mountainous regions.

The banned organization Fitna-ul-Hindustan has also confirmed the death of the militant in clashes with security forces in Balochistan.

Officials highlight that such cases proved the false narratives of “missing persons” in Balochistan and how some individuals are trying to accuse the state institutions for fulfilling their foreign agenda of chaos. They assert that many individuals voluntarily join terrorist groups and later, their families stage protests creating a misleading image of victimhood.

Security agencies maintain that these terrorists target innocent citizens, workers, and passengers, abducting them from buses and carrying out attacks, while simultaneously portraying themselves as victims in public demonstrations.
