Quetta: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized a large quantity of drugs during operations conducted across various parts of the country, including Balochistan.
According to the ANF spokesperson, a total of six operations were carried out in Quetta (the provincial capital of Balochistan), Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, and Karachi.
During these operations, authorities recovered 100 kilograms of heroin, 80 kilograms of morphine, 13.2 kilograms of hashish, 3 kilograms of crystal meth (ice), 2.218 kilograms of opium, 70 grams of weed (bhang), and 490 ecstasy tablets weighing a total of 254 grams. Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the drug seizures.
One of the arrested individuals reportedly confessed to selling drugs to students in educational institutions. Legal proceedings have been initiated against all the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act.

The ANF spokesperson emphasized that the agency is taking all possible steps to make the country drug-free and that strict action against drug traffickers will continue.
