Islamabad: Al Jazeera’s breaking news claiming that two Pakistani-flagged oil tankers turned back at the Strait of Hormuz has been proven completely false.
Both vessels, MT Khairpur and MT Shalamar, have successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Persian Gulf. They are now en route to Kuwait and are expected to reach their destination early tomorrow morning.
Maritime tracking sources confirm that both tankers continued their journey without any interruption, directly contradicting Al Jazeera’s report based on Iranian media claims.
This incident highlights yet another case of misleading and inaccurate reporting by Al Jazeera.
