Aide to the Home Minister Babar Yousafzai pays tribute to Balochistan CM

QUETTA: Babar Yousafzai, Adviser to the Balochistan Home Department, has commended Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti for launching Helpline 1129 to address complaints related to petroleum product pricing.

Yousafzai stated that the establishment of the helpline indicates the provincial government’s strong commitment to ensuring fair pricing of fuel and providing immediate redressal of public grievances.

He focused on that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the government is taking practical and result-oriented steps to curb overpricing, improve transparency, and deliver relief to citizens.

“The launch of Helpline 1129 is clear evidence that the government is utilizing all available resources to resolve public issues efficiently,” Yousafzai said in his official statement.

He further noted that strict monitoring of petroleum prices, combined with an effective complaint management system, would increase public trust and act as a deterrent against elements involved in profiteering.

In this sense, Yousafzai also pointed to the government’s targeted subsidy program, describing it as a key initiative aimed at providing direct relief to underprivileged segments of society.

He added that such measures would significantly reduce the financial burden on ordinary citizens.

Meanwhile, Yousafzai stated that the Home Department would continue to work in line with the Chief Minister’s vision to safeguard public interest, uphold the rule of law, and promote transparency in governance.

He expressed full confidence in the leadership of Mir Sarfraz Bugti, adding that such public-centric initiatives would not only bring tangible relief to citizens but also contribute to strengthening good governance across the province.
