ISLAMABAD : Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, remarked that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has transformed the time-tested friendship between Pakistan and China from mere political cooperation into a broader social and economic partnership.
On Sunday, Ahsan Iqbal held a meeting with Lu Hao, President of China’s Development Research Center and the Center for International Knowledge on Development.
During the discussion, the minister emphasized that robust economic cooperation between the two countries is essential for Pakistan’s national progress.

He noted that China’s success in economic reforms and scientific planning serves as a model for achieving sustainable development in Pakistan.
