ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal, stated that the coastal city of Gwadar is transforming into a strategic gateway.
He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has been playing a significant role in the country’s economic development over the past decade.
The minister further added that at the time of CPEC’s launch, the country was facing up to 18 hours of load shedding.
However, CPEC has made a major contribution to the development of the energy sector.
He also noted that, due to the efforts of the working class, ordinary citizens are now benefiting from the fruits of development.
