It is worth mentioning that the Afghan Transit Trade was suspended in the wake of the strain on the Pak-Afghan border.
The Afghan security forces had launched attacks on Pakistan’s territory through the Balochistan border.
Pakistan not only gave a befitting response to the hostility carried out by the Afghan forces but also suspended the Pak-Afghan borders with KP and Balochistan.
Pakistan also suspended the Afghan transit trade with a clear stance that the Indian-backed militancy, hostility and trade cannot go along together.
All the rift led to not only the closure of the trade across the border but some thousands of Afghan refugees also got stuck on the Chaman border.
Pakistan, on one hand as initiated the peaceful and prestigious repatriation of the Afghan nationals but has also vowed that all the trade and the movement of the nationals of the both countries will only be carried out through corridors.
The directorate of Afghan Transit Trade has also resolved that a strict authentication of the vehicles will be carried out for the restoration of the Afghan Transit Trade.
The restoration of the trade will not only bring a massive relief for the traders across the border but it will also bring smile for the people who were unemployed on account of the border closure.
