Afghan Taliban’s double standards on terror in Pakistan, India exposed

ISLAMABAD: The Afghan Taliban regime and allied terrorist groups such as ‘Fitna al Khawarij’ are once again using the name of Islam to advance their violent agendas. Analysts say the true nature of these actors is now becoming clear to the world.

Reports indicate the groups aim to portray Islam, a peaceful religion, as a symbol of terror. Targeting innocent civilians, carrying out suicide attacks, and attacking mosques are acts against humanity, not Islam.

Experts note that the Taliban call themselves the “Islamic Emirate,” yet maintain growing ties with India’s Hindutva ideology. Several official and unofficial Taliban accounts have issued threats against Pakistan, raising concerns over regional security.

Interestingly, the Taliban condemn attacks in India but remain silent on ongoing terrorism and suicide bombings in Pakistan. Analysts say this highlights their double standards and perceived alignment with New Delhi.

Religious scholars emphasize that Islam promotes peace, tolerance, and justice. The Taliban and extremist groups, however, have distorted these teachings to spread hatred and violence. Their actions clearly show they represent neither Islam nor humanity.

Experts warn that the international community must now recognize the reality of extremism carried out in the name of Islam. They say these groups are focused on destruction rather than promoting peace.
