The deadline for Afghan POR card holders end

QUETTA: The deadline given to the Afghan POR card holders voluntarily leaving Pakistan has come to an end.

According to the sources, Pakistan had given the deadlines to the Afghan nationals to voluntarily leave Pakistan till 31st August and the deadline has come to an end now.

Only the visa holder Afghan nationals will not be deported whereas those with expired timeframe of visa will be facilitated and assisted for the return to Afghanistan.

According to the sources, the Afghan nationals having study and the medical visa are dealt in a polite way.

The statistics suggest that some 16 thousand and 400 Afghan nationals have been deported from Islamabad so far.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has been hosting nearly 5 million Afghan nationals for the past four decades.

It was the early 80s when Afghan national became refugees during the Russia War and they took shelter in Pakistan.
