Quetta – In a joint press conference, the spokesperson of Balochistan and the DIG of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) revealed key developments in ongoing security operations.
According to the DIG CTD, a suspect named Ashraf has been apprehended from the Saryab area.
He stated that Afghan nationals are actively involved in terrorist activities within Balochistan.
Regarding the Musawwir Kakar case, an individual has been taken into custody and the authorities are in contact with the victim’s family to share further information. Two suspects connected to the case are still on the run, while another accused named Hasham has already been arrested.
The terrorists were reportedly living in the Bhusa Mandi locality, and the owner of the house has also been detained for investigation.
The spokesperson added that swift action in Kalat and Mastung areas prevented major losses.
Meanwhile, the incident in Zhob occurred around 6 PM, during the time when the national highway is typically closed for traffic.

Chief Minister Balochistan has strictly instructed that the national highway must remain open under all circumstances and should not be allowed to be blocked by any group or individual.
