KABUL: The Afghan journalist has made an important claim alleging that Pakistani fighter jet bombers entered Kabul’s airspace, as reports of gunfire echoed across parts of the Afghan capital.
Ahmad Sharif Zada, an Afghan journalist, stated that Pakistani Air Force fighter aircraft crossed into Kabul’s airspace.
The residents in several areas of Kabul reported hearing the sound of rapid gunfire. The videos shared online appear to capture bursts of automatic weapon fire, although the source and cause of the gunfire remain unclear at this stage.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Airforce fighter jets are on covering the skies of Kabul under the Operation Ghazb e Lil Haq.
The situation remains fluid, and it is unclear whether the reported gunfire is directly connected to the alleged presence of fighter jets.
The security forces in Kabul are reportedly monitoring the situation, though no casualties or damage have been officially reported so far.
