Adopted son kills two brothers over property dispute in Quetta

QUETTA: Five people were killed in separate shooting incidents across Quetta, Dera Murad Jamali, and Khuzdar.

Police arrested a man named Adnan for murdering his two brothers in Quetta. The killings reportedly stemmed from a property dispute. Adnan, the adopted son of the victims’ father, confessed during interrogation.

According to police, he killed his brothers six months ago. He buried their bodies in the backyard, rented out the house, and told his parents the brothers were missing. The crime came to light when his ex-wife tipped off the police.

Adnan admitted he killed them to prevent them from claiming their share of the inheritance.

In Dera Murad Jamali, unidentified gunmen opened fire on a moving car. Two people died on the spot. The attackers escaped, and authorities moved the bodies to a hospital.
