Quetta’s MNA Adil Bazai resigns from three NA standing committees

QUETTA: Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Adil Khan Bazai, representing Quetta on Friday has resigned from three standing committees of the National Assembly, on the directives of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, Imran Khan.

While talking to media persons, MNA Adil Bazai confirmed that his decision was made in line with party instructions. He said that as a loyal member of PTI, he could not ignore the guidance of the former prime minister.

He highlighted that his resignation should not be seen as a personal choice but as a political obligation, underscoring his commitment to the party’s collective strategy. The move reflects growing pressure within PTI ranks as lawmakers adjust to evolving political dynamics in the country.

Bazai was elected MNA from NA-262 Quetta and has been an active political figure in Balochistan.
