QUETTA: Social activist Muhammad Ali Achakzai has publicly blamed Sardar Akhtar Mengal and his associates for the recent tragic incident at a political rally.
In a podcast interview with Burak Baloch, Achakzai claimed that while security agencies were performing their duties at the event, they were repeatedly disrupted by Sardar Akhtar Mengal’s personal guards. He stated that these disruptions directly led to the “unfortunate tragedy.”
Achakzai challenged that if a judicial commission is formed to investigate the incident, Mengal and his group would be the ones to oppose it because they are responsible.
He further alleged that certain elements, who cannot tolerate peace and progress in Pakistan, are acting on “Indian signals” to mislead people and push the country towards instability.
Finally, he highlighted Pakistan’s global diplomatic success, noting that its role in the fight against terrorism is being appreciated at international forums like the United Nations and the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation).
