Achakzai questions selective outrage over Balochistan terror attacks

ISLAMABAD: Former caretaker minister Jan Achakzai has criticized the so-called activists protesting outside Islamabad Press Club in support of the Mah Rang Baloch movement, for remaining silent over the recent deadly bus attack in Kalat and attacks of Indian-funded terrorist attacks in different parts of Balochistan, targeting the innocent unarmed civilians.

Achakzai expressed his views on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, he said that it is very strange and disappointing that these activists always kept blind eye towards the killing of recent killing of innocent civilians in different terror attacks carried out by banned terrorist groups such as BLA BLF and others.

He questioned why the protesters raised their voices today for Mah Rang Baloch but did not express any condolences or condemnation for the victims of the Kalat bus attack, which claimed several innocent lives, “Were those victims not human?”.

Achakzai said that supporters of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) and Mah Rang Baloch only advocate for victims whose narratives oppose the state, adding that Mah Rang’s BYC had not issued any statement condemning the attack, suggesting that the perpetrators might be ideologically aligned with them.
