ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and head of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, has announced that our alliance has decided that we will convene an All Parties Conference (APC) on July 31 and August 1.
Achakzai said this while addressing a press conference along with leaders of the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Salman Akram Raja and other leaders. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that a round table conference consisting of people from different institutions in which all representative organizations including politicians, (retd) generals, (retd) judges, journalists, traders, lawyers, farmers, workers and all will participate, there will be a conference for two days and if necessary for three days.
He said that in the All Parties Conference (APC) will discuss the different points including the supremacy of the constitution, inflation, unrest, freedom of the press, independence of the judiciary and others.
Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that Pakistan is our country and it is sinking, adding that when political parties and leaders become silent, spontaneous movements start and then anarchy spreads. He added that our alliance is not for any show, but until the supremacy of the constitution is not restored in the country, we will not leave this movement.
