ZHOB: Fire erupts 16 people as a result of collision between a coal-truck and an oil tanker.
The incident has caused injuries to 16 people. Six people have been said to be a critical condition.
The effected people included those riding in the truck and the oil container as well the the policemen and the rescue workers.
The injured persons were immediately shifted to the Trauma Center Zhob on the 1122 ambulances.
Six out seriously injured persons have been referred to Quetta, whereas, the other injured person were discharged after providing with the first-aid the Trauma Center.
It is worth mentioning that many such incident have taken place so far on the roads and the national highways of Balochistan where the oil tankers often collide with the other vehicles causing massive disaster.
It was a few months earlier when fire erupted from an oil tanker in Nushki which caused deaths to over 40 people.
Similarly, the Quetta-Karachi National Highway is named ‘Killer Road’ on account of causing numerous deadly accidents.
Often goods- vehicle collide with passenger vans on the narrow and dangerous roads of Balochistan causing horrible accidents.
In the same way, sometimes vehicles overturn while taking some dangerous turns which also causes intense accidents in Balochistan.
The road infrastructure across Balochistan is generally poor so the rough patches and the ditches on the roads also lead to massive accidents.
Balochistan’s border hits Iran and Afghanistan which means that the province is a significant point for the border-trade.
This leads to a necessity of providing Balochistan with a high-quality road infrastructure that not only ensure a smooth passage for the international trade but also guarantees safety of millions of travelers across Balochistan.
