Six abducted people recovered in Jhal Magsi

HUB: In Dera Murad Jamali, six members of the same family who were kidnapped from Baba Kot in Nasirabad have been safely recovered and returned home.

The rescue took place in the Chandrama area of Jhal Magsi, though no suspects were arrested.

According to police, the victims—a farmer family including the head of the household, his son, two women, and two children were abducted a few days ago from Haleem Shah Goth in Tamboo, Baba Kot.

Late last night, authorities successfully recovered all of them unharmed from Jhal Magsi, and they have now reached their homes.

SHO Baba Kot, Ali Nawaz Magsi, stated that the hostages were freed following an intense exchange of gunfire, but the kidnappers managed to escape under the cover of darkness.

However, independent sources claim the recovery was achieved through tribal influence and pressure rather than police action.

The affected family has raised concerns over the failure to apprehend any of the abductors.

It is worth mentioning that the crimes in Balochistan have been a massive concern over the years.

On account of its distant places, and difficult demography, Balochistan is a safe haven and hideout for the criminals who carry out intense crimes across the province.
The ongoing going challenges of law-and-order and security concerns have raised fears among the traders, transporters as well as the civilians.
There have been complains of robbery, extortion and theft across the province in the past many years.
Be it the national highways and the roads or the markets and the residential areas, the criminals carry out many such crimes not daily but on hourly basis.
However, the current government has taken some necessary measures in order to provide the people with the feeling of safety.

The police officials have vowed to show ‘Zero-Tolerance Policy’ for the criminals.
The raids are launched across many areas in which some high-profile criminals linked with the inter-provincial gangs have been held.

The gangs linked with the drugs, illegal weapons, robbery and theft have been arrested on a large scale in the recent times.
