18 years of Samjhauta horror: India's RSS terror exposed

Lahore: Eighteen years have passed since the Samjhauta Express tragedy, yet the grief of the victims remains fresh today.

On February 18, 2007, Indian Hindu extremists targeted 68 innocent people, including Pakistani and Indian citizens, in an act of state-sponsored terrorism. India initially blamed Pakistani organizations for the incident.

The arrest of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker Kamal Chauhan exposed India’s conspiracy. During the investigation, RSS members were proven responsible for the tragedy before a judicial magistrate.

In February 2007, bombs exploded on the Samjhauta Express train running between Lahore and Delhi, igniting a fire that claimed 68 lives, mostly Pakistanis.

The fire near Panipat killed 43 Pakistanis, 10 Indians, and 15 unidentified individuals. In the terrorist attack, 10 Pakistanis and 2 Indians were also injured.

Indian Army Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Purohit was arrested as well; he confessed to training Hindu terrorists to provoke armed conflict between Pakistan and India.

India has repeatedly resorted to anti-Pakistan media campaigns and false flag operations, but like the Samjhauta Express case, every tactic of the Modi government has ultimately been exposed on its own.
