A new spell of rains is expected across the country

QUETTA: The meteorology department has made a forecast a new spell of rains across the country including Balochistan from July 11 to 17.

The meteorology department has said the there is a rain forecast in Zhob, Shirani, Musa Khel, Barkhan and Loralai in Balochistan.

The threat of land sliding has also been given in the mountain areas during rain. Rain is expected in the twin cities, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

There is prediction of rain in Mansehra, Haripur, Abbotabad, Kaghan valley , Char Sadda and Mardan.
In Punjab rain is expected in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Khaniwal, Multan, Bhakkar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan and Rajanpur.

The rain is also predicted in the areas of Sindh.

It is worth mentioning that the earlier spell of rains across Balochistan has caused a huge loss of lives and property.

The report highlights widespread damage caused by monsoon rains and flash floods in several districts.

The PDMA said at least eight people have suffered injuries in various rain-related accidents.

Floodwaters and heavy rain have damaged 47 houses across the province. In Khuzdar alone, five houses were affected in the past 24 hours. Of the total, eight homes were completely destroyed while 39 were partially damaged.
