A detained Khawarij urges youth to support Pak Army

ISLAMABAD: A detained extremist has made startling disclosures about the Khawarij-inspired militant network, revealing how they exploit religion to manipulate young people and incite them against the Pakistan Army.

Identifying himself as Ihsanullah, son of Abdul Jenan from the Mehsud tribe, the militant confessed that the Khawarij group recruit impressionable youth by twisting religious teachings and fueling hatred toward state institutions.

He admitted that for nearly three years, he facilitated operations for several commanders, including Commander Badri, Commander Mushtaq, Commander Grenade, and Commander Islamuddin.

During this period, he was involved in attacks on armored vehicles and an assault on the police station in Tator, among other violent activities.

According to his testimony, the Khawarij militants aggressively brainwash young men and deploy them in terrorist operations against Pakistan’s security forces.

He further revealed that many commanders even push recruits toward immoral and sinful activities to serve their personal interests.

He stated that these commanders treated their own members disrespectfully and exploited them.

They also spread false claims that the Pakistan Army is “non-believing,” when in reality, he found the extremists themselves to be misguided and deviant.

He added that after observing the Pakistan Army closely, he realized that its soldiers are true practicing Muslims, he personally saw them offering all five daily prayers.

He also learned proper prayers and the Kalima during this period, which he did not know previously.

Appealing to the youth, the captured militant urged them to support the Pakistan Army so that extremist elements can be confronted and eliminated.

He acknowledged that their own lives were destroyed because of these terrorist leaders.

Security forces, he said, remain determined to root out the Khawarij militants who spread terror, hatred, and chaos under the pretext of religion.
