BEIJING: China has reaffirmed its firm commitment to Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity amid ongoing regional tensions.
In a telephone conversation with Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Sunday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized Beijing’s unwavering and unconditional support for Islamabad.
During the call, Wang Yi also encouraged both Pakistan and India to engage in meaningful dialogue and adopt strategic measures aimed at achieving a long-term ceasefire.
He stressed the importance of de-escalation and peaceful conflict resolution through diplomatic channels.

In a separate conversation with India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Wang Yi underscored the need for both nations to resolve outstanding disputes through dialogue and mutual understanding, urging restraint to prevent further escalation in the region.
