RAWALPINDI: Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz has said that the enemy did not dare to advance after seeing the preparedness of the Pakistan Navy for safeguarding the country’s maritime boundaries.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, along with Vice Admiral Bahria Rab Nawaz and Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, told a joint press conference, he said that thanks be to God that we were able to defend Pakistan.
During the press conference, Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz said that it is the responsibility of the Navy to protect the country’s maritime borders and we were succeeded in it, adding that Pakistan Navy was immediately mobilized after the Indian false flag. The Pakistan Navy was ready to respond to any aggression from India.
Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz informed that the Pakistan Navy was keeping an eye on every movement in the maritime borders. The Pakistan Navy was monitoring the Indian ship from the first day. On May 6 and 7, the Indian ship was near Ratnagiri.
While answering to a question, Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz said that the Indian ship was 400 nautical miles away from Pakistan’s maritime borders. If there was any Indian aggression from the maritime borders, a timely response would have been received. Seeing the readiness of the Pakistan Navy, the enemy did not dare to move forward.
Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz said that the Indian ship Vikrant could only carry 10 to 12 ships. When India attacked civilians, the Indian ship itself retreated. The Pakistan Navy also kept a close watch on Indian submarines and aircraft.
