KECH: The BLA has claimed responsibility for a series of violent attacks targeting security personnel, civilians, and infrastructure across Kech, Mastung, and Kachi districts. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a proscribed terrorist organization as declared by the government and other international bodies, including the United Nations.
The attacks, which involved the use of remote-controlled IEDs and firearms, are being condemned as clear acts of terrorism against the state and its people.
So far, as per the sources, the BLA orchestrated six separate assaults over the past two days. These included ambushes on army outposts, attacks on a bomb disposal squad, destruction of communication infrastructure, and targeted assaults on supply convoys.
In this regard, the officials have mentioned that the BLA’s operations are part of a broader strategy of disruption aimed at destabilizing the province through fear and bloodshed. This group has been involved in heinous crimes, including the targeted killing of security personnel, abduction of civilians, attacks on students, educators, and destruction of national assets, including schools, communication towers, and transport vehicles.
Furthermore, the BLA issued threats against local civilians, warning them not to assist government institutions or security forces.

In addition, law enforcement agencies are conducting search and clearance operations in the affected areas and have promised to bring the perpetrators to justice. Meanwhile, the state continues its outreach to local communities, encouraging unity against elements that seek to divide and destabilize Pakistan.
