Asim Iftikhar: India supports terrorist activities in Balochistan

NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Asim Iftikhar says that India has been directly involved in supporting terrorist activities in Balochistan province of Pakistan.

While holding a press conference in New York, he said that Pakistan has undeniable evidence of Indian involvement in promoting terrorism activities in Balochistan province.

He said that India is the only country in South Asia who are involved in such terror financing activities and creating in the neighboring country.

Regarding the similarity between Gaza and Kashmir issues, Asim Iftikhar has said that both the places have been illegal occupied by the forces and trying to suppress the innocent people.

He stressed on resolving both the issues according to the UN resolutions, the world community should take serios notice of the situation in both Gaza and Kashmir as the process of illegal occupation is oppressing the people of both regions.

It should be noted that Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Asim Iftikhar had also met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. The latest situation in South Asia was discussed in the meeting between the two leaders. During this, issues related to reducing tension in the region were also discussed.

During the meeting Asim Iftikhar informed the UN secretary general about the India’s baseless accusations and propaganda against Pakistan after the Pahalgam incident in which 26 tourists were killed and 20 others were injured.
