23 Abducted Civilians Rescued in Security Operation in Kalat

The security forces have conducted an intelligence-based operation against a suspected militant hideout in the Raij area of Kalat district, reportedly rescuing 23 abducted civilians.

KALAT: The security forces have conducted an intelligence-based operation against a suspected militant hideout in the Raij area of Kalat district, reportedly rescuing 23 abducted civilians.

The operation was carried out under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, an ongoing counterterrorism campaign involving intelligence-based operations in different parts of Balochistan.

The recent reports have also confirmed several separate operations under the campaign in Panjgur, Chagai and other areas of the province.

The two Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists were killed, while another militant was reportedly injured or taken into custody.

The security personnel launched the operation after receiving intelligence about the presence of looted vehicles and other materials at a militant camp in the area.

The action was described as a precision intelligence-based operation.

One of the major outcomes of the operation was the reported recovery of 23 abducted civilians, including drivers and cleaners.

The rescue of the civilians is significant because the security operation reportedly targeted a location where vehicles and other material had been seized. The rescued individuals were subsequently secured by the forces, according to the information released about the operation.

Security forces also reportedly recovered several vehicles and weapons from the site.

The recovered material included six containers, an old bus, two old cars and two motorcycles. Weapons recovered during the operation reportedly included an SMG, a sniper rifle, a pistol and a grenade, along with three jackets.

The recovery of the vehicles and weapons is expected to assist authorities in determining the activities being carried out from the suspected militant camp.

Operations Continue in Balochistan

The Kalat operation comes amid continued security operations against militant groups in Balochistan. On September 19, security sources reported that 11 terrorists were killed in separate operations in Panjgur and Chagai under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, with weapons, ammunition and explosive material also recovered.
