LONDON: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a five-hour meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari in London, with discussions focusing on Pakistan’s political situation and the party’s stance on any proposal involving the division of Sindh.

The meeting took place at President Asif Ali Zardari’s residence in London. Bilawal was accompanied by his sister, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, who was also present at the gathering along with her children.

According to reports, the participants discussed developments in Pakistan and reviewed matters concerning the PPP’s political position. A recent speech delivered by PPP leader Faryal Talpur was also brought up during the meeting.

A key outcome of the discussions was the decision to continue maintaining the PPP’s opposition to any division of Sindh. The party’s position on the issue remained unchanged following the meeting.

The five-hour session provided an opportunity for Bilawal and the president to discuss the political situation and matters related to the party’s stance. The discussions took place during Bilawal’s stay in London.

After the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke briefly to journalists. He said he would remain in London for the next few days and indicated that he would meet members of the media during his stay.

Following their interaction with journalists, Bilawal and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari left for their residence.

The meeting comes as the PPP continues to maintain its position against the division of Sindh. The issue was among the matters discussed during Bilawal’s extended meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari.

The gathering brought together senior members of the Bhutto-Zardari family in London, with discussions covering the political situation in Pakistan, the PPP’s position on Sindh and the recent remarks by Faryal Talpur.

No change in the party’s position on the division of Sindh was announced after the meeting. Bilawal is expected to remain in London for the coming days and meet journalists during his stay.
