ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s federal government has increased the prices of petroleum products.
The Petroleum Division said in a notification that petrol prices have risen by Rs1.08 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has increased by 51 paisa per litre.
The new price of petrol stands at Rs343.08 per litre.
High-speed diesel will now cost Rs370.92 per litre.
The government has been setting petroleum prices on a daily basis amid heightened tensions in the Middle East.
Prices remain unchanged on Saturdays and Sundays.
