QUETTA: Security forces raided a drug manufacturing facility in Yaro, Pishin district, and seized a large quantity of narcotics, authorities said.
Officials said around 33,600 kilograms of drugs were recovered from the facility and destroyed at the site.
The security forces also seized a large quantity of ice, along with equipment and materials used to manufacture narcotics.
The seized drugs were estimated to be worth around Rs268.8 million, according to officials.
Heavy machinery was used to demolish the factory building and its production units after the raid.
Security forces are continuing a province-wide crackdown on drug trafficking and manufacturing in Balochistan.
Authorities said the operations aim to dismantle the illegal drug trade and protect young people from substance abuse.
