MAKKAH : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah at the Holy Kaaba in Makkah on Friday during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, offering special prayers for the prosperity and security of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif, Atta Tarar, and other senior officials. Before performing the rituals of Umrah, the delegation was granted the privilege of visiting the Kaaba Sharif, where they offered heartfelt supplications for the nation’s well-being.
Upon arrival in Jeddah, the Prime Minister received a warm welcome from Deputy Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Mashal. During the visit, PM Sharif is scheduled to hold an important meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The talks are expected to focus on further strengthening the long-standing brotherly relations between the two countries and exploring avenues for enhanced bilateral partnership in multiple sectors.
