At the end of the match, both players first shook hands and then embraced each other, setting a beautiful example of mutual respect and friendship in sports.

This scene emerged at a time when cricket relations between India and Pakistan have seen a chill in recent period.

Following the Pahalgam attack, tensions between the two countries escalated, which also affected the cricket field.

Under strict directives from the Indian government, both men’s and women’s teams had avoided traditional handshakes with Pakistani players in recent international fixtures.
