Two People, Including a Pregnant Woman, Murdered

Quetta: A pregnant woman, Warda Dawood, was killed and her seven-year-old son, Muhammad Habib, was injured in a shooting inside a house located in a private housing scheme on Airport Road.

Police transferred both the body and the injured child to Civil Hospital, while the victim’s husband, Farhan Magsi, was taken into custody on suspicion of murder, and the case was handed over to the Serious Crimes Unit for investigation.

The victim’s sister stated that Warda was previously divorced and had a seven-year-old son before marrying Farhan Magsi.

She appealed to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti to ensure that her sister’s killer receives the strictest punishment under the law and that justice is served.

Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified person was recovered in the Goban area of Turbat and is being sent to a hospital for identification and legal procedures as investigations continue.

Balochistan continues to grapple with severe safety challenges, underscored by recent violent episodes that have deeply shaken local communities.
