Bannu Police Kill 4 Terrorists in an Operation

MASTUNG: In a major intelligence-based operation, security forces have dealt a significant blow to terrorist networks in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung district, eliminating 15 terrorists and injuring 12 others, military sources confirmed today.

 

The operation, which remains ongoing, targeted a major hideout of the proscribed outfit Fitna-ul-Hindustan. Security forces surrounded the area from all directions before launching the assault, effectively trapping the terrorists inside their stronghold.

 

According to official statements, the hideout has been completely destroyed, and a large cache of weapons and ammunition has been recovered from the site. In addition to the casualties, eight other terrorists were arrested during the operation.

 

“Security forces have encircled the hiding terrorists from all sides,” a military spokesperson said. “The operation is progressing as planned, and we are systematically targeting remaining terrorist hideouts in the region.”

 

Local sources report heavy exchange of gunfire and explosions in the area, with residents advised to remain indoors. The operation is part of a broader crackdown against militant elements operating in the province.
