Mastung: BLA Terrorists Set Passengers Bus on Fire After Failed Extortion Attempt, Kill Five Civilians

QUETTA: Indian-backed terrorists of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), after failing to extort money, set civilian buses on fire in Mastung in a cowardly attempt to deprive the people of Balochistan of their livelihoods.

As a result, five local civilians were killed and 11 others sustained injuries in the attack.

Following the incident, a security forces convoy was dispatched to the area but came under attack by the terrorists. The security forces, however, successfully foiled the assault and, after an intense exchange of fire, launched a clearance operation, killing at least eight Fitna al Hindustan militants—a term used for the India-backed, internationally designated terrorist group BLA.

The incident occurred in the Khad Koocha area of Mastung.

Balochistan has witnessed a sharp surge in attacks by India-backed groups BLA and TTP, referred to by Pakistan as Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij, respectively.

Earlier this month, at least 11 Pakistan Army soldiers were killed in Lasbela district, while 27 policemen lost their lives in Ziarat during a series of coordinated attacks across the province, according to authorities.
