Air Chief Says PAF Performance in ‘Maraka-e-Haq’ Will Be Remembered in Golden Words

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force held a special ceremony at Air Headquarters, Islamabad, to pay tribute to its outstanding performance in Operation ‘Maraka-e-Haq’ (Battle for Truth).

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu addressed the ceremony. He called the occasion a matter of pride for the force. He said the success reflected the PAF’s high morale, professional excellence, and rapid response capability.

The Air Chief said the Pakistan Air Force immediately went on high alert in response to any potential threat. He said the air surveillance network was further strengthened. He added that all enemy movements were closely monitored. He said modern radar systems and air defence assets remained fully active.

He stated that the Air Force maintained continuous combat air patrols across multiple regions. He said fighter jets remained on standby for rapid response to any aggression. He added that during several operations, the PAF foiled enemy intentions.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu said the Air Force strengthened its defensive posture and quickly enhanced operational readiness across key areas. He said the PAF remains fully prepared at all times and will ensure the defence of the country under all circumstances.

The ceremony also honoured the sacrifices of martyrs, veterans, and serving personnel. It said their contributions remain the guarantee of Pakistan’s security.

The Air Chief said “Operation Haq” stands as a shining example of professionalism and resolve. He said it will be remembered in history in golden words.

According to the Pakistan Air Force, the enemy initially deployed an unsuccessful air strategy at Hashim Ara. It was later shifted to Ambala and then moved to Gwalior to reposition its air network.

The objective was to conceal its main air strength. However, strong and aggressive air posture by Pakistan Air Force in the southern and central sectors forced the enemy to alter its plans. The enemy redeployed its aircraft from north to south, which exposed its positioning.

During this period, the Pakistan Air Force used multiple concealment measures. These included changes in electronic signals, frequent relocations, and unpredictable operational patterns. The PAF said these tactics prevented the enemy from assessing Pakistan’s operational plans.

The Air Force said it remained on full alert throughout the enemy’s military buildup. It maintained continuous aerial surveillance to ensure complete protection of Pakistan’s airspace.
