LAHORE: In a shocking incident in Lahore’s Ichhra area, new revelations have emerged regarding a woman accused of killing her three young children.
According to details, important findings have surfaced during the investigation into the mother, Rida, who allegedly murdered her two daughters and one son inside their home.
Police sources say Rida was in contact with a man named Shahryar from Jhang, and both were reportedly from the same area with daily phone communication.
They also intended to marry each other.
Police further revealed that the accused used to receive money from Shahryar through mobile applications and reportedly wanted to divorce her husband to marry him.
Officials believe the children were seen as a major obstacle to her plan.
During the investigation, call detail records provided key evidence, after which police teams traveled to Jhang to arrest Shahryar.
Meanwhile, the victim’s husband, Ramzan, has been released, as initial investigations have so far held only the mother responsible for the crime.
Authorities stated that if further investigation reveals the involvement of any other individual, action will be taken accordingly.
