No Room for Ethnic or Sectarian Division in Balochistan: Babar Yousafzai

QUETTA: Balochistan’s Assistant Home Minister Babar Yousufzai said on Monday that authorities will not allow anyone to spread hatred based on language, sect, or identity in the province.

He said the government remains committed to promoting peace, brotherhood, and unity across Balochistan.

Yousufzai said the provincial government, the Home Department, and security agencies are fully performing their duties. He said they continue to work under a coordinated strategy to improve law and order.

He said militants are trying to create divisions among brotherly communities to advance their agenda. He rejected these efforts and called them unrealistic.

“We are all united. We are all Pakistanis, and our identity is only Pakistan,” he said.

He said no one will be allowed to create hatred or division among the people. He added that authorities will defeat every conspiracy against Pakistan.

He said the government will respond firmly to anyone involved in anti-state activities.

Yousufzai also pledged to further strengthen an environment of brotherhood, harmony, and unity in the province.
