Punjab Deports Over 34,000 Illegal Immigrants

LAHORE: The process of deporting illegal immigrants from across Punjab is continuing.

According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Punjab Police have so far deported more than 34,000 illegal foreigners, including Afghans, from Lahore and other parts of the province.

Meanwhile, 201 illegal immigrants are currently being held at holding points.

The spokesperson revealed that among those deported, there are over 13,000 men, 6,868 women, and more than 14,000 children.

Of those deported, 10,665 held residential proof, 11,114 possessed Afghan Citizen Cards, while 12,206 were undocumented illegal immigrants.
