TEHRAN: Iran has put forward six strategic conditions to stop the war.
An unnamed Iranian official told local media that regional parties and mediators have presented proposals to Iran for halting the conflict.
The official outlined six conditions under a new legal and strategic framework. The first and foremost condition is a guarantee that the war will not resume.
The second condition is the closure of all American military bases in the region.
The third is the withdrawal of the aggressor and payment of war reparations to Iran.
The fourth condition demands an end to all fighting on every regional front.
The fifth requires the implementation of a new legal regime for the Strait of Hormuz.
The sixth condition calls for legal action against Iran’s opponents in the media, including their expulsion from the country.
It was not clarified through which mediators these conditions have been conveyed to the United States and Israel.
According to Iranian media, security and political officials insist that Iran’s conditions must be taken seriously. One unnamed senior security and political official stated that Iran has been steadily and strategically advancing a plan that was decided months ago, exercising strategic patience step by step.
While claiming that the enemy’s air defense systems have been destroyed and that Iran now has full control over the enemy’s airspace, the official said that in the current situation, Iran does not see immediate prospects for a ceasefire.
