Earlier, during Lahore Qalandars’ ongoing conditioning camp in Islamabad, Afridi highlighted the success of talent trials held across the country. “Skilled players were selected through nationwide trials. Many have progressed to the national level, which is a major achievement for the team,” he said.
Afridi expressed optimism about this year’s talent trials, saying one or two young players could secure spots in the PSL. “We are preparing strong players for the coming years,” he added.
The captain also emphasized that the inclusion of new local and international players, along with matches at new venues, would offer cricket fans more exciting contests in the future.
This gathering reflects Afridi’s focus on team unity and the development of emerging talent ahead of the PSL season.
